Five Minutes with Vicki Hwang ’13

Financial services is one of the most common industries where new MSA graduates accept employment, and that’s where Vicki Hwang ‘13 initially landed as well. Her experience as a marketing analyst at M&T Bank — the same institution that sponsored her MSA practicum team’s project — laid the foundation for her career, which has included analytical roles at Expedia and Zulily. In 2017, Vicki and her partner decided to press “pause” on their careers and spend a year traveling the world on their bicycles. Shortly after returning home to Seattle, Vicki shifted her focus to software development and now works in that capacity at Hulu.
