Sufyan Shahin ‘20 and current student Jon Luettgen both enrolled in the MSA program after working as high school math teachers. They’ve gotten to know one another through improvisational comedy workshops that Sufyan hosts weekly as a way for MSA students to hone their communication skills in a fun, zero-stakes setting. Here, Sufyan shares with Jon some highlights and takeaways from his experience at the Institute. As an MSA student, Sufyan led his practicum team on a project sponsored by Red Hat. Now he is a data scientist at Terminix, a leading pest control service provider, and currently serves as a liaison for the two practicum projects Terminix is sponsoring for MSA ‘22.
