What event has candy, costumes, and critters all for a good cause? A Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume party fundraiser with IAA students at the West St. Dog Bar of course! Everyone had a howling good time voting for their favorite costume and participating in the IAA raffle! West St. Dog Bar generously granted fundraiser attendees free entry to the off-leash dog section of the bar, allowing several IAA pups to get to know each other during the event. At the end of the event, the IAA was able to raise $582 for the SPCA, while providing a great afternoon for both students and dogs!
Everyone was looking pawsitively bootiful at the costume competition on Saturday afternoon! To include pets of all shapes and sizes, the costume party used photographs of cats, dogs, and even bearded dragons in their snazziest outfits. The Institute’s very own Pippy Forester took home gold with her spooktacular pirate costume!
A raffle for IAA swag was another highlight of the afternoon with fur-ocious prizes including several coffee mugs, passport holders, luggage tags, a sweatshirt, and pens and paper all branded with the Institute of Advanced Analytics name! Susan Manner, Jelena Mitrovic, Jon Luettgen, and Louise Lindegaard were our lucky winners!
The Animal Welfare Volunteer Committee is excited to continue working with the SPCA, and wants to send a huge thank you to everyone at the West St. Dog Bar for hosting our event!
